So, after some thinking, I've decided to tinker with a brief departure from what this site has typically done. I've always avoided engaging in "reviewing" an artists work. Firstly, it's incredibly subjective, what I like, maybe isn't for all, and vice versa. Secondly, I have a difficult time, sitting in judgement of someone else's work, especially those who have a skill that I would love to have, but in truth have no gift for. There's also what I refer to as the "Homer effect", as I had no desire to stand at a pulpit and extol the virtues of my hometown talent. That one didn't work out all that well actually. It turns out there was/is a ridiculous amount of talented individuals in this city, so I'm still at my pulpit.
The other aspect I've decided to play with, is the "local" flair I limited myself to. I love music, all music. I like to talk about it, read about it and listen to it, from all over the world. So I want to share that with people. First and foremost, will be the Ottawa scene, because it's so damn good and should be talked about more, but I'm not going to limit myself. Hopefully you'll take a look at our Artists section (click on the Tab) and see a number of new and exciting artists. Over the next few days I'm going to add new music to the playlist (actually, I think I'll revamp it completely) and write up some thoughts on 4 albums I've been listening to lately...

Seeking the Best Sales Professionals
Because I staff sales and marketing professionals for a living, this is going to be one list of many in which I will discuss the traits of a good salesperson.
1. Hunter Mentality - Our clients come to us because they want to increase both their client numbers and subsequent revenue. As sales recruiters this is our job and what we do every day. There is a big difference between an account manager and a sales representative. Sales representatives are the ones who go out and hunt for business while the account managers are the ones who make those clients happy via solid customer service.
2. Job Stability - Our sales and marketing recruiters like to see job applicants who have stayed at their jobs for extended periods of time. Recruiting fees are not cheap and,UGG Boots, if at all avoidable,moncler prix, we try to not have our clients pay the same fee to fill the same position 2x.
3. Contacts - Let's face it, these days nobody is going to get into a C-level executive via cold-calling a company with no contacts. Now, this is not to say these people are dishonest, though they had to do something to not be able to stay at a job for an extended period of time.
8. Good Writing Skills - I know somewhere in the bulk of articles in which we have written there are some grammatical mistakes. Though,70911, a salesperson should be able to express his ideas via good writing. This is especially true if he or she is selling to a very highly educated bunch.
9. Constant Learning - The best sales people keep up with industry trends and do the proper research so the competition does not get a leg-up on them.
