www.lysten.ca is a part of Lysten Media. Lysten's (pronounced list-ten) mandate is to see the return of music as art, while focusing on Canadian music as a whole and specifically the grassroots aspect of Canadian music culture. Utilizing writers from across the country, lysten.ca will offer readers the opportunity to focus on their home town, but not limiting them to such, as the site will offer a national spin as well.
The word "lysten" is Swedish, and means "passion" which is a reflection of the emotion music evokes in our founding members and staff. We hope it does in you as well and you'll join us on this journey.
